Before wearing it, I would suggest conditioning it to keep it looking healthy. I've used various styling tools on it like a blow dryer, flat iron, and curling iron, and it still looks great. I've also noticed minimal shedding, and it blends flawlessly with my blown-out 4c hair. While I did read a review claiming that the hair doesn't hold a curl, I haven't had that issue.
